What we collect
We only collect personal data that you choose to give us. The only place this website collects personal data is the enquiry form on our Contact page, which asks for:
- Your name
- Your work email address
- Your company (optional)
- The area you are interested in
- Your message
When you submit the form, our hosting provider also processes your IP address briefly, to help protect the form from spam and abuse.
How we use it
We use the information you submit solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
How it is processed
The contact form is handled by a serverless function running on our hosting provider, Cloudflare. When you submit the form, your message is sent by email through our transactional email provider, Resend, to XCloudGen’s inbox. We do not store submissions in a database.
Legal basis
We process this data on the basis of legitimate interest — responding to enquiries you have chosen to send us.
Retention
We keep enquiry emails for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to and follow up on your enquiry, and in line with our normal email retention practices.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the personal data we hold about you, and to object to how it is used. To exercise any of these rights, please get in touch through our Contact page.
Children
This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to this website. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
